Job Summary San Simeon by the Sound is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. CNAs provide direct resident care and assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility. Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and other assigned observations. Respond promptly to resident call bells and requests. Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team. Maintain accurate documentation and resident records. Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other team members. Participate in resident care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings as required. Qualifications Current New York State CNA Certification required. Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents. Schedule Requirements Must be available to work assigned weekends and holidays in accordance with facility needs and union contract requirements. Overtime opportunities may be available.
