Job Description

Key Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility Support meal service and help maintain proper nutrition Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly Respond to patient needs with urgency, empathy, and professionalism Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
Position Qualification Preferred:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Completion of a Nurses Aide program Previous hospital or health care experience.
License/Certification Preferred:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Work Environment Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated. Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting. Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies. Age of Patients Served All Age Groups HIPAA RolesBased Access to Patient Information Clinical Access to patient information that is not restricted (an example of restricted information is ARU) Level 3
