Elderwood at North Creek is hiring CNA Trainees to join our team and complete a structured, 3-week Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program led by a professional nurse educator. This is not an online-only course. This is hands-on, in-person learning inside a real clinical environment

We are seeking individuals who are: Reliable and committed to completing a structured 3-week onsite program Compassionate and motivated to care for older adults Professional, punctual, and team-oriented Ready to build a long-term healthcare careerProgram Expectations:
To successfully complete the program, trainees must: Pass the Prometric Reading Assessment (80% or higher) Achieve 90% or higher on quizzes and final exam Attend all classroom, lab, and clinical days Provide required health documentation (MMR, Flu, etc.) Maintain professionalism and reliability throughout training Have dependable transportation Participants must have access to a personal device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone) for supplemental coursework. CNA Training Program:
Participate in a structured, state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program Complete classroom instruction, skills lab practice, and supervised clinical experience Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and compassion throughout training Prepare for and successfully complete the York State CNA certification exam Follow attendance and performance standards required for program completion Transition into a CNA role within our facility upon certificationQualifications CNA Training Program:
Sixteen (16) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent required. Employment Certificate/Permit required for 16-17 years of age. No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property through any current or previous licensing agency. This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
