Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

W Cardiac Position Summary Summary:
The Mobility Aide is a specially trained member of the Nursing Department who performs specified tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse (Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager or Designee). The Mobility Aide functions in a support role to the Registered Professional Nurse or Physical Therapy team by providing direct, mobility-related patient care activities as assigned.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in healthcare related services OR • Successful completion of 1 semesters of hospital-based clinical practicum while enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English Experience in healthcare related services Prefer relevant experience in an inpatient health care setting Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite Successful completion of Mobility Aide Training/Orientation License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information: Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Strenuous Physical Activity (e.g., frequent and sustained lifting, bending, standing, walking, and carrying, etc.) required throughout shift Exposure to Infectious Materials (e.g., fluids, solids, tissue and/or other waste products) Exposed to a variety of clinical conditions, technologies and environmental settings Physical stamina, manual dexterity to perform a variety of tasks and skills in area of Assignment
