CNA Per Diem Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Provide routine, daily nursing care to assigned residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as ambulating, transferring, and positioning residents Monitor and report changes in resident condition, including vital signs, and respond to call bells promptly Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy at all times Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to established infection control practices and following safety protocols Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding residents as needed Provide emotional support and comfort to residents, families, and colleagues Participate in ongoing education and training to expand knowledge and skills

Expectations:

Report to work on time and ready to work at the start of the shift Provide proper notification when late or absent Demonstrate reliability and flexibility when on-call Maintain confidentiality and adhere to established protocols Reflect commitment to building a supportive work environment and maintain a positive attitude Perform related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform lifting, bending, and stretching without limitations Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
