Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting patient well-being, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals with daily patient needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for all individuals under your care. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff promptly. Support patients with medication administration under supervision, adhering to strict protocols and HIPAA regulations. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including engaging in therapeutic activities. Maintain infection control standards through proper aseptic techniques and sanitation procedures across all patient interactions. Document patient care activities thoroughly within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Assist with medical procedures like phlebotomy or catheter care when trained and authorized. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive post-acute, long-term, or hospice care tailored to individual needs. Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program. Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics. Familiarity with EMR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS). Experience caring for patients with complex needs such as ICU or trauma center cases is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health conditions in a compassionate manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols. Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform caregiving tasks safely and efficiently. $23.98 - $28.88 per hour
