"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care within a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in high-acuity settings and are passionate about delivering quality patient care while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Obtain and document vital signs accurately Assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting, and mobility Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff Serve as a patient safety companion/sitter when needed Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety Support nurses and providers with patient care activities Transport and reposition patients safely Maintain accurate documentation and records Follow infection prevention and safety protocols Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Required Qualifications:

Current New York State CNA Certification Current BLS Certification Minimum 1 year of patient care experience Minimum 2 years of ADL experience Level I Trauma Hospital experience required Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Emergency Department experience Float Pool experience Patient Safety Companion/Sitter experience Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
