This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in patient care while supporting clinical operations. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will assist with patient assessments, perform basic medical procedures, and ensure smooth clinic workflows. This role is perfect for motivated nursing students eager to develop their skills in a real-world setting, all while making a positive impact on patient health and well-being. Duties Assist with patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and recording medical information accurately. Perform basic medical procedures such EK and Reevue under supervision. Maintain HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Document medical records, review documentation for accuracy, and update patient charts in compliance with healthcare standards. Conduct patient assessments including intake procedures, vital signs collection, and . Support patient service activities such as providing comfort measures and responding promptly to patient needs. Part Time hours Tuesdays 8am-2pm, Starting in August Qualifications Currently enrolled as a nursing student or student pursuing a healthcare-related degree. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support accurate patient assessment and care activities. Familiarity with medical terminology, physical examinations, and documentation review. Ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and support care plans effectively. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to protect patient privacy and safety. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service and care.
