Position Summary CNAs play a vital role in delivering hands-on care, promoting independence, and enhancing the resident experience. Take personal pride in the services you provide Show others that you care Always be respectful Key Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing Support residents in mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort Monitor and document residents' health status and report changes to nursing staff Assist with meals, including feeding and ensuring dietary needs are met Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Assist residents with the self-administration of medications as directed Follow care plans and document activities accurately in compliance with facility protocols Uphold resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality Participate in ongoing training and development sessions
Qualifications Required:
Current CNA certification in the State of Ohio Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and committed to resident care Ability to pass a background check
Preferred:
CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain) Experience in assisted living or long-term care Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Long periods of walking or standing Frequent movement, reaching, bending, and lifting May involve exposure to infectious materials What Success Looks Like Positive resident/family feedback (surveys and reviews) Excellent communication with your manager Reliable documentation and reporting Zero unresolved resident complaints Punctuality and compliance with company policies Why Join Optimized Senior Living?
