Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, promoting independence while maintaining safety and dignity.

Responsibilities Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client needs. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Document medical information accurately, including changes in client health status. Support clients in engaging in social activities and community outings. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client adherence to medication schedules. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress. Qualifications Previous experience in senior care or home health preferred. STNA License preferred Knowledge of medical documentation practices is a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable. Strong caregiving skills with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to assist clients with daily living tasks while promoting independence. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient-oriented. Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not required.
