7pm-7am 🩺 STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant)

• Job Description Position Summary:

  An STNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of nurses. You help residents with daily activities, monitor their condition, and support the healthcare team. 🔧 Main Duties Patient Care
• Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with eating, drinking, and mobility (walking, transferring)
• Turn/reposition patients in bed to prevent bedsores Monitoring & Reporting
• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature)
• Observe changes in patient condition and report to nurses
• Document care in charts or electronic records Daily Living Support
• Change bed linens and keep rooms clean
• Serve meals and help with feeding
• Transport residents to activities or appointments Team Support
• Assist nurses during procedures
• Help maintain a safe, clean environment
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff 🧠 Skills Needed
• Compassion and patience
• Good communication
• Physical strength (lifting, standing long hours)
• Attention to detail 📋 Requirements
• Active Ohio STNA certification
• High school diploma (usually preferred)
• Ability to pass background check ⏰ Work Schedule (like your 7p-7a shift)
• 8-12 hour shifts (days or nights)
• Includes weekends/holidays
• Night shift (7pm-7am) typically includes: + More monitoring & rounds + Fewer activities but still hands-on care 💡 What your shift (7p-7a) usually looks like
• Evening care (dinner help, getting residents ready for bed)
• Overnight rounds (checking, repositioning, vitals)
• Early morning care (getting residents up, hygiene, breakfast prep)
