We are currently seeking a certified, passionate Kindergarten Teacher to lead our Kindergarten classroom and guide students through this important foundational year. Your Role as a Kindergarten Teacher As the Kindergarten Lead Teacher, you are responsible for creating a structured, engaging, and academically strong classroom environment that prepares students for continued success. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with Goddard Developmental Guidelines and Ohio standards, delivering instruction in early literacy, math, science, and social studies through hands on, developmentally appropriate learning, creating a classroom environment that promotes independence, critical thinking, and collaboration, differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs, conducting assessments and using data to guide instruction, maintaining consistent and professional communication with families, designing an organized classroom that supports focus, exploration, and growth, modeling positive guidance and age appropriate expectations, participating in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development, ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry leading Quality Assurance standards, and collaborating with school leadership and fellow teachers to foster a strong school community. Most importantly, you will create a classroom where children feel confident, capable, and excited to learn each day. Current Ohio certification to teach Kindergarten required. Minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed center or school setting. Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
