Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant 7a-7p dayshift (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential direct patient care, support clinical staff, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for individuals across various care settings. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support Help with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and wound dressing in various settings including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and outpatient clinics Maintain detailed medical documentation and records to ensure accurate communication among healthcare teams Assist in patient transfers and positioning using equipment like Hoyer lifts or bed rails while adhering to safety protocols for acute care or trauma center environments Support infection control practices by following strict aseptic techniques during patient care activities in infectious disease or ICU settings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, or post-acute care to deliver comprehensive patient service Experience Proven experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living communities, or outpatient clinics Demonstrated familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for medical documentation and patient records management Experience providing specialized care including dementia/memory care, hospice support, pediatric or behavioral health services Critical care experience in ICU or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic life support procedures is essential Prior work with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring complex caregiving interventions is advantageous Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures and manage infection control protocols effectively in acute or sub-acute settings Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
