  • PRN, Contract, Per diem Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your primary focus will be to assist patients with their daily needs, ensure their comfort, and support clinical staff in delivering exceptional healthcare services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals of all ages and health conditions. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation following HIPAA guidelines and medical terminology standards Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory or behavioral health settings Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute environments Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care or wound management to prevent infection Assist with medical procedures including phlebotomy when trained and authorized to do so Experience Prior experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks Experience caring for individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs is a plus Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as Level II trauma centers or urgent care clinics Background in geriatrics, pediatrics, or home & community care enhances your ability to provide comprehensive patient service Certification in basic life support (BLS) and familiarity with infection control protocols are required for this role Join us if you're passionate about caregiving and eager to contribute your skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.
