Full Time, 36 hours/weekly, Non-Exempt Schedu le: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, 12 hour shifts, variable scheduled days Your role with us As a certified nursing assistant in our 30-bed trauma care unit, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients and nursing staff in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The unit features private, telemetry-capable rooms which are designed with ICU-level capability allowing you to care for patients experiencing a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma, vascular issues, and complex cardiac, respiratory, and metabolic disorders. Most patients arrive from the emergency department or are transferred from the ICU, giving you the opportunity to contribute to meaningful care during critical moments. You'll work alongside a collaborative and adaptable team known for strong communication and teamwork, helping to ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care at every level of acuity. What you'll do Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team. Support nurses and healthcare staff in delivering personalized, high-quality care. Maintain a clean, safe, and healing environment for patients and families. Provide emotional support and compassionate care during vulnerable moments. Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and team members. Help ensure patient dignity, comfort, and safety at all times. Required qualifications Licensed in the State of Oregon to practice as a CNA. Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
