Located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Eagleville Hospital is a private, non-profit organization specializing in the treatment, education, and prevention of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and acute psychiatric conditions. Our campus includes an Older Adult Unit and a 16-bed Acute Psychiatric Unit.

Participate in shift reports and communicate patient status updates. Respond to medical, psychiatric, and behavioral emergencies using nonviolent crisis intervention techniques. Provide support and assistance to patients as needed. Assist with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility. Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake and output measurements, and observe specimen collection. Assist with transporting and lifting patients when necessary. Search new admissions and belongings and orient patients to the unit and hospital. Transport charts, supplies, food trays, mail, and other materials throughout the facility. Provide phone coverage and unit support as needed. Monitor patients on special precautions and complete required documentation. Conduct hourly patient rounds and maintain accurate records. Drive and/or escort patients to appointments, meetings, and other approved activities. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license. Ability to perform vital signs, including manual blood pressure measurements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. CPR certification within 120 days of hire. Preferred Experience working with psychiatric and/or substance use treatment populations. Physical Requirements Ability to perform extensive walking and standing throughout the workday. Ability to assist with occasional heavy lifting and routine medium lifting. Ability to transport patient belongings, supplies, and equipment. Ability to climb a minimum of three flights of stairs.
