Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Administer medications and manage medication schedules in compliance with healthcare protocols and HIPAA regulations Support patients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or developmental disabilities through tailored caregiving strategies Document medical records and care notes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems with precision and confidentiality Assist with meal preparation, feeding, laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with home & community care standards Collaborate with teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed effectively Qualifications Valid CNA certification or Home Health Aide license required; prior experience in nursing homes or long-term care settings highly preferred Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or in assisted living environments Ability to perform patient observation accurately and respond promptly to changing . Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation; familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy CPR certification required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's/dementia training are a plus Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude towards patient safety and comfort Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms lives.
