Job Description

NEW Higher Pay Rates | Stable Pay | Stable Hours | W-2 Employment with Full Benefits Myerstown Nursing and Rehab is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform a variety of resident care activities and services necessary to support the personal needs and comfort of our nursing home residents in Myerstown, PA. Shifts Available:
Full Time, Part Time, and PRN Pay:
$21.03-$24.03 per hour
EXCELLENT
weekend shift differential ($5/hr for ALL shifts)
Pay-in-Lieu Program Available:
Employees who elect to waive benefits may qualify for a higher hourly rate through our Pay-in-Lieu of Benefits program. CNA Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neuro, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs (if applicable)
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensure resident safety and well-being
  • Act under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the interdisciplinary team
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per the established Care Plan
  • Ensure residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan
  • Interact with residents, families, co-workers, and clinical staff in a respectful, supportive, and professional manner
  • Complete additional duties as assigned in accordance with the Care Plan CNA Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification required (completion of a state-approved training program and exam)
