Leisure Time Activity Aide/CNA

Rensselaer County Resident preferred NY State certification as a CNA preferred Must have a valid driver's license to drive the wheelchair buses Must have computer skills for clinical documentation, including assessments, care conferences and other documentation This is non-technical work involving responsibility for assisting and conducting a varied program of diversified, meaningful and appropriate leisure time activities with residents in a residential health care facility• Prepares equipment, supplies and facilities for special entertainment, individual and/or group activities Assists residents in craft projects and other leisure time activities; aids in the preparation and serving of refreshments during activities programs; transports residents to stores, movies, sporting events, etc.; lifts and helps moves residents Distributes birthday gifts, cakes, cards for various occasions and other personal items; Aids with arrangements for movies, picnics, theme days and other events; Must work every 8th weekend Come work at the Van Rensselaer Manor where you can have more than a job, you can have a career!
