Job Description

Category CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supporting students for the upcoming academic year. As a valued member of a dedicated school-based healthcare team, you will play an essential role in fostering a safe, supportive environment for children and young adults. This ongoing contract role offers a consistent weekday schedule within the educational sector.
Schedule:
30 to 32.5 hours per week
Qualifications:
Must hold an active Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) CNA certificate Current CNA certification required Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant within pediatric, school, or educational settings is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and peers Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt to the dynamic school environment Availability to interview onsite, with no exceptions
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, compassionate care and assistance to students as directed by healthcare staff and school administration Support teachers and staff in meeting classroom health, hygiene, and mobility needs Assist with daily living activities and health monitoring for students Maintain accurate documentation and follow school health protocols Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students with diverse needs
