Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA/PCA to provide in home care for two young boys with autism and ADHD. This is a full time, Monday-Friday position. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines such as bathing, grooming, and light household tasks while maintaining a structured and consistent schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs, including behavioral support, redirection techniques, and understanding of sensory needs. Patience reliability, and the ability to create a calm, supportive environment are essential. Gas reimbursement may be available.Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities ( bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Maintain a consistent daily routine and structured schedule
- Provide behavioral support, redirection, and positive reinforcement
- Assist with light household duties (laundry, tidying, etc.)
- Monitor safety and provide a calm, supportive environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and office staff
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Valid CNA/PCA certification (or relevant caregiving experience)
- Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, or special needs preferred
- Patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage behaviors using redirection and positive reinforcement
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow a structed routine
