Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of an advanced practitioner, or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients.Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Perform wound care as needed
- Assist with medical procedures and examinations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Experience working with children and providing infant care
- Proficient in specimen collection and processing techniques
- Ability to catheterize patients and provide catheter care
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation
- Excellent patient care skills, including compassion, empathy, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
LPN Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Valid SC LPN license Computer skills Basic medical terminology Healthcare Provider CPR certification Trained inOSHA/HIPAA
compliance Willing to work 12 hour shifts and weekends Willing to work at other centers as needed Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.Medical Assistant Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Completion of an Accredited Medical Assisting Program Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant Computer skills Basic medical terminology Healthcare Provider CPR certification Trained inOSHA/HIPAA
