Summary We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Villages of Dallas. In this role, you will provide essential support to our nursing staff and assist patients with daily activities, contributing to their overall well-being and comfort. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers. Provide catheter care and assist with phlebotomy when necessary. Support geriatric patients in long-term care settings with empathy and respect. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients at all times. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records. Requirements Commitment to completing Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) courses/certification required. Experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
