Practice Manager Position Summary Coordinate and oversee daily activities of the clinic and clinical team members to ensure compassionate, effective and efficient delivery of high quality clinical care for patients. Supports the goals and objectives of the Company. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise the day to day activities of clinical team members engaged in clinical care for patients under the supervision of a Physician or provider. Organize, assign, and communicate duties and tasks to clinical team members for current day. Review the staffing and patient schedule for the next day and organize, assign, and communicate duties and tasks to clinical team members. Establish daily clinical team member work area assignments and request staff from Nurse Coordinator as needed. Monitor daily performance of clinical team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently and timely. Monitor and control overtime. Assist the Nurse Coordinator in performance evaluation of clinical team members. Assist the Nurse Coordinator in conducting orientation and training on clinical policies and procedures. Identify and recommend solutions to clinical team member on office issues or problems. Ensure high quality clinical care for patients by reviewing and researching concerns or complaints and recommending corrective action as appropriate in collaboration with Nurse Coordinator. Recommend disciplinary action as needed in conjunction with Nurse Coordinator and Practice Manager in collaboration with Human Resources. Maintain adequate clinical supplies by monitoring inventory levels/communicating with NC/ PM. Ensure clinical equipment remains in operating condition. Communicates with NC/PM malfunctioning equipment immediately. Ensure clinical policies and procedures are carried out on a daily basis. Identify and recommend policies and procedures as needed to ensure quality, compliance, accuracy and cost efficiency. Ensure daily documentation ( Team Lead Checklist ) is transmitted to Nurse Coordinator at end of day. QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate s Degree or higher preferred Medical office experience preferredCertification and Licensure:
CMA or RMA certification or LVN or RN license required Other related certifications and licenses will be considered (i.e. RT(R), MLT, CPhT) Current CPR certification Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Safety and Confidentiality- Follows OSHA regulations and the safety guidelines of the Practice. Follows HIPAA policies and procedures. Respects and maintains patient confidentiality. Use CPR skills when necessary. Organization

Physical Demands Physical Demands:
Anticipate lifting 20-25 pounds in any given day. Lifting up to 40-50 pounds may occasionally be required, depending on the specific style or type of care provided. In the performance of certain patient care tasks, the Team Leader may be expected to have sufficient manual dexterity in order to safely perform various skills and techniques. Tasks and expectations may vary by clinical site and medical practice. Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner. May be exposed to acutely ill patients, communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, and airborne allergens used during skin testing and immunotherapy. Work Environment Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor clinic office setting with adequate ventilation; Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic) Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with regular working hours; Occasional overtime and/ or travel to other clinics may be required.Similar jobs in Frisco, TX
