Job Description
Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and clinical skills will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your expertise in patient support, vital signs monitoring, medication assistance, and specialized care will contribute to delivering exceptional health services. We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented professionals committed to promoting comfort, safety, and dignity for all individuals under our care. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices. Monitor and record vital signs accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to ensure precise documentation. Support medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to maintain patient safety. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory or behavioral health settings. Assist with complex procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy, and wound dressing while maintaining infection control standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units to deliver comprehensive patient support. Engage in patient education and emotional support tailored to pediatric, geriatric, or behavioral health populations across inpatient and outpatient settings. Experience Proven experience working as a CNA in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health agencies. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation. Experience providing specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care, including memory care techniques and behavioral health management. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support patient assessments and vital signs monitoring effectively. Prior work with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays in community or inpatient settings is preferred.
