Menard Manor is seeking a compassionate and dependable Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide direct resident care and support daily living activities while ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort for all residents. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a supportive long-term care environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Assist residents with eating and hydration needs as required Ensure resident rooms are clean, safe, and organized Observe and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly Follow care plans accurately and document care provided in a timely manner Support resident mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring using proper safety techniques Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards Collaborate effectively with nurses, healthcare staff, and other team members Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Qualifications:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on facility) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely as required by job duties Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor Previous long-term care or healthcare experience preferred but not required Menard Manor is an equal
