  • PRN Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Certified Registered Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team.
In this role, you will provide essential patient care services across various settings, including assisted living, long-term care facilities, and home health environments. Your primary focus will be supporting patients with their daily needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity while adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability and allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and document vital signs, patient observations, and medical conditions accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care and dementia-specific activities. Assist with catheter care, hospice support, and other specialized medical procedures as directed by nursing staff. Observe patient conditions closely, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust care plans accordingly. Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and meal preparation when needed. Requirements Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active state licensure. Current CPR certification and knowledge of medical terminology. Prior experience working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Ability to perform patient observation accurately and respond effectively to changing conditions. Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
