This flexible position offers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical scenarios, from acute care and emergency medicine to memory and dementia care, empowering you to develop your skills while delivering exceptional patient service. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring accurate medical documentation in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Support medication administration under supervision, adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, behavioral health conditions, or developmental disabilities Assist with catheter care, wound care, and other medical procedures following established protocols and infection control standards Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams in acute care environments like Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers, ICU units, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or post-acute settings Maintain a safe environment by using proper body mechanics and equipment like Hoyer lifts while supporting patient transfers and mobility Skills Proven experience working with diverse populations including seniors, pediatrics, individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care Strong understanding of infection control practices and HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and recognize abnormal findings requiring escalation Experience with specialized care areas such as hospice care, memory/dementia care, acute or sub-acute care settings Proficiency in using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and working within fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine or urgent care clinics Join us in delivering compassionate patient-centered care that enhances lives!
