Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene to promote independence and dignity Monitor vital signs Medication reminders Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments through compassionate engagement and safety measures Qualifications Valid certification as a PCA or CNA with current state licensure or registration Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, or home care settings Experience caring for individuals with behavioral health needs or developmental disabilities; experience in dementia or memory care is highly valued Basic life support (BLS) certification is preferred; willingness to obtain additional certifications.
