Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Reports To:
RN / LPN
/
Clinical Supervisor Authority:
Provides direct personal care and support services under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Monitor and report client condition changes to the supervising nurse. Record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as assigned. Maintain client hygiene and a safe, clean environment. Document services provided in compliance with agency protocols.
Qualifications:
6 months of experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
Valid CNA certification from the Virginia Board of Nursing. CPR certification required.
Education:
Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, reposition, and assist clients; perform prolonged standing and physical care tasks.
