Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide exceptional patient-centered care across various healthcare settings. This role involves supporting patients with daily activities, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, or home care, and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation, and patient safety protocols. UCHS is not your typical agency, we are luxury and operate with passion. Key Responsibilities Direct Client Care Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and fall-prevention techniques. Take and record vital signs as assigned. Assist with skin care, including lotion application and monitoring for breakdown. Perform meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration reminders. Daily logging Supportive Care Duties Light housekeeping (client-specific): linens, laundry, tidying, sanitation. Monitor and report changes in physical or cognitive status to management. Maintain accurate, timely care notes per UCHS policy. Follow infection-control, safety, and emergency procedures. Professionalism & Standards Represent UCHS with professionalism, compassion, and reliability. Uphold all confidentiality, HIPAA, and compliance expectations. Maintain respectful communication with clients, families, and team members. Adhere to schedules, agency protocols, and mandatory reporting requirements.
Pay:
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
