Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse's Aide to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in our quaint nursing home. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality care while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Help with mobility by assisting patients in moving to and from beds, chairs, or wheelchairs. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during their stay. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Participate in patient education by teaching basic health information under the guidance of nursing staff. Support specialized care in settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, Medical-surgical units, Teaching hospitals, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), and Level II trauma centers. Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating flexibility in various clinical environments. Familiarity with outpatient care procedures as well as inpatient protocols is advantageous. Knowledge of geriatric care practices is preferred but not mandatory. $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
