We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver (HCA/CNA) to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. In this role, you will be a vital part of enhancing residents' quality of life by delivering personalized care with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energy and commitment will help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for those you serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities, while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare and community care fields. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient observations and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Administer medications following medical documentation protocols and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support residents with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory care, hospice care, catheter care, and Hoyer lift transfers Document medical records accurately and maintain detailed notes on patient progress and changes in condition Assist with meal preparation, feeding, cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment Use medical terminology appropriately when communicating with healthcare teams and documenting patient information Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care in home & community settings or long-term care facilities Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Healthcare Assistant (HCA) required; experience as a nursing aide preferred Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and vital signs monitoring Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is a plus Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for documentation purposes CPR certification required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's care or hospice care are advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations Physical ability to assist with patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or similar equipment; capable of standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout shifts Benefits Competitive pay: $20
