Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to 6 vulnerable adults with Dementia. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive experience for patients and their families while supporting the clinical team with essential caregiving duties. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive and respectful patient service. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks like catheter care Ensure patient safety by utilizing equipment such as Hoyer lifts and adhering to aseptic techniques during care delivery Document patient interactions accurately in medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect privacy Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, behavioral health needs, or developmental disabilities Assist in medication administration under supervision and support emergency or urgent care situations in fast-paced environments like Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units Experience Demonstrated expertise in geriatrics, memory care, or long-term care settings such as nursing homes or assisted living communities Hands-on experience with specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is a plus Certification in basic life support (BLS) or CPR is required; additional certifications like phlebotomy or hospice care are advantageous Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
