Full-time benefits Description PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Team Lead for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $48.52 - $72.78. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Job Summary Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day functions for assigned area. Assists with ensuring that departmental goals are achieved, timelines are met and service excellence is provided in all aspects of work. Subject matter expert.

Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team. Essential Functions Assigns work; plans and manages priorities, provides technical assistance, oversees staff schedules, monitors quality of work, monitors team projects, mentors staff, provides constructive feedback; oversees staff training; ensures quality improvement; provides leadership feedback on staff performance; and assists with goal setting for the team. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. This includes but is not limited to assessing patient's condition, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds and monitoring patient vital signs. Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards. Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development. Participates in the development of and maintains established policies, procedures and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Accredited School of Nursing Required :

Minimum of 1 year

in the staff role (RN) that the caregiver will be Lead over and Minimum of 2 years

in an outpatient clinic, with previous leadership experience

Location Specific Notes PHMG:

Demonstrates competence in making professional judgements pertaining to patient care. May screen and prioritize patient telephone or walk in inquiries concerning their medical care, prescription refills and insurance authorizations and referrals. Evaluates and responds appropriately to urgent or emergency situations. Working Conditions Patient handling no greater than 35 lbs. without the use of assistive equipment and/or devices (NIOSH). Fine motor skills to be able to grasp and control medical equipment and perform precise procedures.

Push/Pull:

Frequently up to 45 lbs. force (i.e., WOW, medical carts). Perform hands on CPR at least 20 mins using 100-125 lbs. of force (National Assoc. of EMS Physicians and AHA) Frequency should be seldom or occasionally. Ability to move around area with frequent sitting. Bending/ stooping/ squatting/ reaching/ kneeling frequently. Lifting (non-patient) up to 20 lbs. occasionally and 5 lbs. frequently. Exposure to biohazard, body fluids and airborne particles. Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment. Vision and hearing required within normal limits (glasses, contacts, hearing aids permitted). Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
