Easterseals Wisconsin has two camp programs located in

Wisconsin Dells:

Camp Wawbeek and Respite Camp. Both camps run weekend programs during the school year, as well as week-long sessions during the summer. We are looking for RNs, LPNs, GNs, student nurses, and CNAs to join us for our summer programs. Nurses set up and administer medications, perform standard first aid, attend camp trips, and perform routine medical treatments. Nursing staff will work closely with camp leadership team to ensure personal care and individual camper needs are met. We also have great opportunities for student nurses to work directly with our veteran nurses and gain invaluable experiences. Both Camp Wawbeek and Respite Camp serve children and adults with moderate to severe disabilities. Common diagnoses include autism, cognitive delays, involved medical conditions, multiple disabilities and behavior disorders. Both camps provide a recreational program for campers, and a much-needed break for the parents and caregivers. During their stay at camp, campers will be placed in groups at both camps. Respite Camp serves 35+ campers a week and Camp Wawbeek serves between 50-65 campers/week. Student nurses must have taken and successfully completed Fundaments and Pharmacology class in order to work as a Student Nurse.
