Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and become a vital part of providing compassionate, high-quality patient care across diverse settings. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, accurately documenting all patient interactions in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units to deliver timely patient service and ensure safety during complex procedures like catheter care or phlebotomy. Assist with patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids while maintaining proper body mechanics and safety protocols. Engage with patients across various environments including outpatient clinics, home care visits, assisted living facilities, or inpatient units to promote comfort and well-being. Requirements Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) recognized by state licensing boards. Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, children, individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS). Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Prior experience in settings like hospitals (including ICU or emergency medicine), nursing homes, hospice care, or sub-acute facilities is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting (such as Hoyer lifts), standing for extended periods, and working in fast-paced environments requiring critical thinking. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate patient service while adhering to HIPAA standards.
