Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and medical needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and attentive care in various settings such as private homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospice environments. Responsibilities:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support, using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration) and accurately document medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Support medication administration in accordance with prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including implementing memory care strategies and behavioral management techniques Perform medical-related tasks such as catheter care, wound dressing assistance, and hospice support to address complex health needs Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions, assist with feeding when needed, and maintain a safe and clean environment through light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning Accurately document all patient interactions in medical documentation systems and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient status and any changes Requirements Proven experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping. Certification as a CNA, HHA, PCA, or equivalent; CPR certification is required for emergency response preparedness. Ability to perform physical tasks including assisting with transfers using Hoyer lifts and working with mobility aids safely. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing signs of distress or changes in condition. Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families. Flexibility to work various shifts including live-in arrangements if needed; willingness to adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Pay:
