CNA/HUC for Surgery

The CNA / Unit Secretary / Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) - Surgical Services assists in patient care across pre-op, PACU, and operating room areas and supports perioperative workflows through accurate documentation, clerical, and receptionist duties for efficient unit operation. This position is responsible for safe patient transport, observation ("sitter") services, basic patient care, and coordination of communication between nursing, anesthesia, surgeons, and ancillary departments. The role follows the direction of licensed personnel and the Charge Nurse.
