Job Summary:
Worland Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a dependable and compassionate Shower Aide (CNA) to join our team. The Shower Aide will be responsible for assisting patients with their daily showering needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a skilled nursing facility and in providing bathing assistance. The Shower Aide will work under the supervision of the nurse and will be responsible for ensuring that patients are comfortable and safe during their showering experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with showering and personal hygiene needs Ensure patient safety during showering Assist with patient transfers and mobility Document patient care and observations Communicate effectively with nurse and other healthcare team members Adhere to facility policies and procedures Prioritize teamwork and professionalism during all interactions
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must hold a valid NAC license in Wyoming Experience working in a skilled nursing facility Ability to work independently and as part of a team effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and transfer patients Basic computer skills
