Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Executive Director to support assisted living and memory care communities throughout Alabama. This role is ideal for a strong senior living leader who is passionate about operations, mentorship, team development, and helping communities achieve success.
The Regional Operations Director will work closely with community leadership teams to provide operational guidance, support company initiatives, strengthen compliance efforts, and assist in driving overall community performance.
This is a field-based position requiring regular travel between communities. Key Responsibilities Provide operational leadership and support to assisted living and memory care communities Partner with Executive Directors and leadership teams to support daily operations and community goals Mentor, coach, and support Executive Directors and department leaders Assist communities with compliance, state surveys, and regulatory readiness Support occupancy growth, resident satisfaction, and financial performance Monitor key operational metrics including census, staffing, labor, and expenses Conduct regular community visits, audits, and operational walkthroughs Assist with onboarding and leadership development initiatives Identify opportunities for operational improvement and help implement action plans Partner with ownership and leadership on company initiatives and strategic goals Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive community culture Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Director in assisted living or memory care ( REQUIRED ) Strong operational experience including staffing, census development, compliance, and resident care oversight Knowledge of Alabama assisted living regulations preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and community needs effectively Must be willing and able to travel regularly between communities throughout Alabama Preferred Qualifications Previous Regional, multi-site, or consultant leadership experience Experience supporting operational improvements and occupancy growth LPN, RN, or Assisted Living Administrator license (a plus) Experience developing and mentoring leadership teams
