Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead our long-term care facility with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a compassionate environment for residents. Your leadership will drive quality care, staff development, and operational excellence, creating a vibrant community where residents feel valued and supported. Duties Manage the overall operation of the nursing home or assisted living community, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, including those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory care needs. Supervise staff members across various departments, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to promote a positive work environment. Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency and sustainability. Coordinate with healthcare professionals such as social workers and medical staff to deliver comprehensive resident care. Ensure medication administration protocols are followed accurately and safely by licensed personnel. Foster strong relationships with residents' families and the community to promote transparency and trust. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator or equivalent certification. Extensive experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or assisted living facilities. Proven supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in senior or home & community care environments. Deep understanding of assisted living operations, dementia care strategies, and memory care programs. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards related to nursing home operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and improve team performance. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, resource planning, and operational management. Excellent communication skills for engaging residents' families, staff members, and external partners.
