Being an IDD/DDD Group Home Manager is a fulfilling and impactful role that requires dedication, compassion, and strong leadership. By providing high-quality care and support, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive community. The Group Home Manager (GHM) oversees the daily operations of one group home for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and providing a safe and supportive environment for residents. Duties The Group Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented and that staff are supported in delivering exceptional service. The manager will supervise and manage staff to ensure compliance with care standards and regulations. Monitor budgets and financial performance of each facility, ensuring efficient use of resources. Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork among staff while promoting high-quality care for residents. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to enhance resident support services. Ensure that residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met and that they have opportunities for personal growth and community involvement. Strong understanding of budgeting processes and financial management within healthcare settings. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families.
Qualifications Maintain the following certifications:
Direct Support Professional, CPR/First Aid, Prevention & Support, and Article IV. Additional certifications may be required. Requires evening, weekend, and holiday work when needed. Must be at least 21 years of age. Two years of Direct Support Professional work. Must have 39 months of clean driving record. Must be able to drive members with the company or personal vehicles as needed and required according to company policy. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid, unrestricted Arizona Driver's License, Registration, and Insurance at all times. Must obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Must be able to provide 24/7 supervision, including being awake overnight. Must pass criminal background checks. 1-year supervision or management experience preferred.
