Job Description
Position Summary:
The Resident Services Director / Administrator Designee is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of care and services in the assisted living community. This role oversees the care staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops individualized service plans that promote resident independence, dignity, and well-being. As Administrator Designee, this position also provides leadership support in the absence of the Executive Director, ensuring continuity of operations and resident-centered care.Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee the daily care services provided to residents, ensuring quality, compliance, and consistency. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized service plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate care team members. Serve as Administrator Designee, assuming responsibility for community operations when the Executive Director is unavailable. Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local regulations, as well as company policies. Monitor residents' health status and coordinate with external healthcare providers as needed. Partner with department leaders (dining, activities, housekeeping, maintenance) to support resident needs and community operations. Respond promptly and effectively to resident and family concerns, promoting satisfaction and trust. Maintain accurate records, assessments, and required documentation for licensing and audits. Assist with recruitment, scheduling, and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and quality care. Support emergency preparedness planning and respond appropriately to crises.Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting. Knowledge of state regulations governing assisted living and memory care programs. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to serve effectively as acting Administrator when delegated. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.Job Type:
