The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and daily operations of the skilled nursing facility. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The Administrator provides strategic direction, oversees financial performance, fosters employee engagement, and promotes a culture centered on resident dignity, safety, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure quality and appropriateness of resident/patient care meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards Prepare annual budget for facility and monitor monthly performance, intervening as needed Recruit, hire, provide orientation/training, and retain a sufficient number of qualified staff Ensure facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff Complete required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations Manage all aspects of state or federal government survey processes Characteristics of a Successful Candidate Compassionate and resident-focused leader.
