Overview Join us as a Home Care Agency Manager / Administrator and lead the charge in delivering exceptional in-home healthcare services. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the home care agency, ensuring efficient service delivery and regulatory compliance Develop and implement policies aligned with healthcare management best practices and JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) standards Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled and motivated team Monitor patient care plans, ensuring quality standards are met and that all medical management protocols are followed accurately Maintain accurate documentation for licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance purposes Foster positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies to promote trust and satisfaction Ensure all aspects of the agency adhere to legal requirements and industry regulations related to healthcare management Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the home care agency Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard caregivers Develop caregiver schedules and ensure adequate staffing Conduct client assessments and coordinate care plans Maintain compliance with Connecticut home care regulations Build relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior communities, physicians, social workers, and referral sources Monitor caregiver performance and client satisfaction Maintain employee and client records Assist with marketing and community outreach efforts Participate in state inspections and compliance reviews Help develop policies and procedures as the agency grows Provide on-call support as needed Requirements Proven experience in healthcare management or administration within a home care or similar setting Strong knowledge of medical management practices and healthcare regulations Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and motivate staff Familiarity with JCAHO accreditation standards and processes Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance tasks Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders including clients, staff, and regulatory bodies A relevant background in medical or healthcare fields is preferred but not mandatory This role is ideal for energetic professionals passionate about delivering compassionate home health services while demonstrating strong leadership.
