Executive Director Job Summary The Wellness Director leads all resident health and clinical services in our assisted living community. This role oversees wellness operations, medication management, staff leadership, and regulatory compliance while promoting a culture of safety, dignity, and whole‑person care. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily wellness and nursing operations. Ensure resident assessments, care plans, and documentation are completed accurately and timely. Manage all medication processes (ordering, administration, reconciliation, documentation). Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate nursing and caregiving staff. Respond to resident health concerns and coordinate with physicians and providers. Lead incident reporting, fall prevention, investigations, and follow‑up. Maintain compliance with Florida AHCA, OSHA, infection control, and resident rights. Manage department budget, payroll, and staffing costs. Serve as clinical liaison for residents and families. Provide on‑call clinical support as needed. Qualifications Active Florida RN or LPN license (required). 3-5 years of experience in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare leadership. Strong knowledge of Florida assisted living regulations. Experience with staff supervision, scheduling, payroll, and EHR systems. CPR certification required. Skills Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage clinical, operational, and financial responsibilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office;

EHR/HRIS

experience preferred. Collaborative, organized, and resident‑focused. Additional Requirements Background clearance, TB screening, and post‑hire health requirements.
