With Compassion Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Job Summary:

Maintains, directs, coordinates, and supervises all activities of the Community.

Provides leadership in innovation and creativity with regard to providing residents with excellent culinary services, progressive and engaging programming.

Establishes and maintains personnel policies and department policies and procedures; and assures that the staff carry out policies and procedures.

Interprets Community's philosophy and explains policies and procedures to staff, residents, visitors, etc.as needed. Monitors residents for the ability to continue to live "independently". Holds meetings with residents/family members regularly when changes in residents occur.

Reviews policies and procedures periodically and makes rmendations for changes as necessary to Liberty Senior Living management.

Reviews policies and procedures forpliance with federal, state and local standards for Community operation, and reviewspliance of staff with policies and procedures.

Stays knowledgeable of resident circumstances and level of independence. Works with staff and family members in order to assist them maintain in their apartment as appropriate and then to move to a higher level of care when appropriate.

Assists in maintaining and updating job descriptions in all departments.

Participates in and conducts in-service training for supervisory personnel and all staff.

Interviews and selectspetent personnel to supervise/direct activities of all departments.

Meets with Department Directors weekly to discuss departmental problems and possible solutions as well as receiving suggestions from Department Directors on matters pertaining to department operations.

Reviews and checkspetence of work force on a regular basis.

Maintains employee morale.

Works with outsidemunity resources to engage with the residents in order to "be a part of the greater Community".

If CCRC - Works closely with the Nursing Home Administrator to coordinate moves between the Independent Living and Healthcare Center.

Prepares an annual budget for the Community.

Continually evaluates the financial status of the Community. Maintains and monitors financial policies, as well as maintains an efficient accounting system to meet the operating cost of the Community.

Maintains a good working relationship with themunity, referral sources, and agencies in themunity to assure coordination of services through working and transfer agreements.

Assures good public relations are maintained with the public.

Represents the Community in various outside activities and in dealing with various agencies including governmental.

Completes continuing education in order to maintain proper credentials.

Reviews the physical environment and plant operation of the Community on a regular basis; supervises maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Keeps current on all laws pertaining to Community operations.

Authorizes purchase of equipment and supplies as approved by guidelines established by Liberty Senior Living Management.

Makes daily rounds of the Community getting to know residents, family members, and staff.

Maintainsmunity confidentiality policies.

Meets with Department Directors on an as needed basis to discuss areas of concern.

Attends monthly staff meetings in all departments.

Monitors staffing levels to assure the Communityplies with budget.

Performs other duties as outlined by Liberty Senior Living management.

Job Requirements:

Must be a high school graduate.

Must havepleted at least 2 years of college or have at least 4 years of supervisory experience in a "Service" Community.

Must be 21 years of age or older, and must be of good moral character.

Must be willing to work with various department directors, patients, visitors, family members, andmunity leaders.

Must have the ability to plan,anize and follow-up on work assignments.

Must have a sound knowledge of personnel administration and must be able to supervise all employees.

Must have a sound knowledge of local, Federal and State regulations and any other laws pertaining to Community operation.

Must have the ability to make independent decisions and work well under pressure.

Must have knowledge of economic conditions and ability to adjust cost of operation to meetmunity ability to pay for services.

Must have the ability to keep abreast of changes in the Independent/Senior Living industry trends.

Must process ability to interpret financial statements and prepare monthly reports for Liberty Senior Living management.

Must have the ability to promote public relations.
