This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong operational and financial acumen with a genuine passion for resident care and staff development. About Us Colliers Assisted Living operates a growing portfolio of assisted living and memory care communities across Florida. Position Summary The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and performance of the community — including regulatory compliance, census/occupancy growth, staff supervision, resident and family satisfaction, and financial performance (budget, labor management, P&L accountability). Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality resident care and a safe, welcoming environment Maintain full compliance with Florida AHCA regulations and ensure survey readiness at all times Recruit, train, supervise, and develop department heads and community staff Manage community census and occupancy, partnering with sales and marketing on move-ins and retention Own the community's budget, labor costs, and overall financial performance Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the local community Handle resident/family concerns and escalations professionally and promptly Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and licensing requirements Partner with corporate leadership (Regional Directors, VP of Operations, COO) on strategic initiatives Qualifications Active Florida Core license (Assisted Living Facility Administrator) required Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Director or Administrator in assisted living, memory care, or senior living Strong working knowledge of Florida ALF regulations and AHCA survey processes Proven track record in census growth, budget management, and staff leadership Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Ability to work on-site and be present/available for community needs What We Offer Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Performance-based bonus opportunity Opportunity to lead within a growing, mission-driven company culture If you're passionate about taking care of God's people and looking to grow with a company that's expanding and invested in its team, we'd love to hear from you.
