Job Description

Westminster Communities of Bradenton is hiring for a full-time Director of Assisted Living to provide daily oversight of the communities' assisted living operations including routine health monitoring of residents. Description The Assisted Living Administrator at Westminster Communities of Bradenton provides supervision and routine health monitoring for residents of residential and ALF living units. Provide emergency first aide to residents and staff. The essential functions include but are not limited to: Supervises the staff which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, wage and salary administration, performance appraisal, managing policies and procedures to ensure achievement of the department's goals. Responsible for the strategic planning and operations of the department by implementing cost control measures and meeting budget goals. Assist with the assessments of new residents moving from Independent Living or the outside into Residential Assisted Living. Responsible for the appearance of the RAL department. Participate in the Level of Care meetings. Manage the day-to-day needs of the residents. Communicate needs or changes to the family members. Conduct family meetings related to residents. Oversee medication dispensing and handling. Ensure that proper medications inventory levels are maintained and that audits are being performed on a regular basis. Oversee monthly
MORS. QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
Bachelor's degree in health-related field or Registered Nurse (R.N.) with at least two years' experience. Two (2) years long term care or assisted living experience required CORE training required. Active CPR certification Must be familiar with long term care of the older adults and be able to function independently.
